The short version
We collect very little, and what we collect exists to deliver the kit you bought. No analytics cookies, no ad tracking, and we never sell personal data. Here's exactly what happens.
Payments — handled entirely by Stripe
When you buy a kit, payment is processed entirely by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never touch Sharpwork's servers — we can't see them and don't store them. Stripe's handling of your data is described in Stripe's privacy policy.
What Sharpwork receives
After a purchase, Stripe sends us your email address and purchase metadata (which kit, when, the amount). We use this to deliver your access link, handle support and refund requests, and keep a record of who bought what.
Delivery emails
Your access email (and any support correspondence) is sent through Microsoft 365, which means your email address and our messages to you are processed on Microsoft's infrastructure as our email provider.
Server logs
Like most web servers, ours keeps access logs — IP address, user agent, pages requested, timestamps. We retain these for security and operations (spotting abuse, debugging problems). We don't use them to profile you.
Progress saved in your browser
The kit hub uses your browser's localStorage to remember checklist progress. That data stays on your device, in your browser — it is never transmitted to us. Clearing your browser data clears it.
What we don't do
- No analytics cookies currently, and no advertising trackers.
- No sale of personal data, ever.
- No marketing lists you didn't ask for.
If we ever add analytics, we'll update this policy first.
Deleting your data
Want your data deleted? Email support@sharpwork.ai from your purchase email and we'll remove what we hold, except records we're legally required to keep (for example, transaction records for tax purposes).
For EU and UK buyers
Our legal basis for processing your data is performance of a contract — we need your email and purchase details to deliver what you bought. You have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data; email support@sharpwork.ai to exercise any of these.
